Münster: After the very successful Elite-Auction yesterday, 16 foals were offered for sale at the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch this evening. 12 of these successfully changed hands. The best paid offer was number 1 Viva Vitalis, who sold for 17,000 Euros. In total, the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch realised a turnover of 107,000 Euros with the foals sold.

Sunday afternoon, 46 riding horses had already changed hands at the online auction of the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch. This evening it was time for the foals. Under the motto "Westphalia on Tour", the Westphalian marketing team selected the lot of 16 foals and filmed them directly at the breeders' premises. A unique pilot project, that was met with great approval. The twelve foals sold changed hands at an average price of 8,917 Euros. They achieved a turnover of 107,000 Euros.

With a knockdown price of 17,000 Euros, the first foal achieved the top price of the evening. The chestnut filly Viva Vitalis by Vitalis/Chameur (breeder and exhibitor: B.J.M. Wezenberg, Nottuln) presented herself with diligence, impulsion and drive. An exceptional foal that will surely find its way into the upper dressage sport. The direct granddam, Sisther de Jeu by Gribaldi, was a finalist in the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses under the saddle of Edward Gal and placed fourth in the World Cup Final in Leipzig. Customers from Hessen can be happy about the winning bid for Viva Vitalis. The Cornet Obolensky/Clinton I son Celsius MR led the field of foals with a jumping pedigree. For 15,500 Euros, the colt bred by Marius Rittstieg, Seeburg, was sold to customers from Hamburg. The dark bay descends from a highly successful dam line. His half-brother is Campino MR, who became Hanoverian Champion at the age of four and is now a serial winner in medium level tests for young show jumpers. His interesting pedigree in combination with his type make Celsius MR an interesting stallion prospect. For 6,750 Euros the pony foal Deep Snow S by D-Gold AT NRW/Diamond Touch NRW (breeder and exhibitor: Sebastian Schneider, Bottrop) will start her journey to the USA. The bay filly impressed with her charm and expression. Her dam line also produced the licensed stallions Veltin and Valido's Highlight, who were successful up to advanced level dressage competitions.
